TDI Intro to Tech Course

The TDI Intro to Tech Course is the starting point for every Technical diver. At Scuba Murcia we will start your Tech Diver training with this introductory course that expands on recreational training by improving dive planning methods, in-water skills, and streamlining existing gear configurations in a controlled and fun learning environment. It is also the best starting place for an Introduction to Twin Set diving. where you will learn the correct set up for diving with manifolded Twin tanks, setting you off on the right path for further Technical Diving.

Who this course is for

• Certified open water scuba diver who wants to expand diver knowledge

• Certified open water scuba diver who is considering technical training

• Certified technical diver who is seeking a refresher course

• The certified diver looking to dive Manifolded Twin tanks and their correct set up

Course prerequisites

• Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent

• Minimum certification: Open Water Diver or equivalent

• Proof of 25 logged open water dives

• Why we use In-depth dive planning for deeper technical dives

• Advanced buoyancy control including proper trim

• Gas management and gas selection

• Situational awareness,

• Equipment configuration and selection

• Manifolded Twin tanks and the benefits of using them for technical dives

 

Requirements

- Hold a PAD or SDI Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent

- Be medically fit to dive
