New airport for Murcia opens soon

There are soon to be more flights to our region with a brand new airport opening at Covera on the 15th January. The King of Spain, Filipe VI, will be attending the official opening ceremony declaring the airport open.

Covera airport is only 30 minutes drive from our dive centre in La Manga and will be serviced by the following UK airports - East Midlands, Luton, Stanstead, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Southend, Birmingham and Dublin (other UK airports to be confirmed). Also there will be many more international arrivals and departures than at the previous airport in San Javier.

The new airport makes it even easier for you to travel to us in the Murcia region and explore the amazing diving we have at Scuba Murcia. We are open all year round and have diving courses, boat trips and shore dives for all levels.
